Cauliflower and Potatoes


Ingredients

  • 1 Cauliflower
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1/4 Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger Paste
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Paste
  • 3/4 Teaspoons Ground Tumeric
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 2 Teaspoons Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. Cut cauliflower into flowerets. Cube potatoes.

  2. Heat oil and saute cumin seeds for about a minute. Add garlic and ginger, stir and add potatoes. Add turmeric and chili powder, and stir. Add tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes

  3. Add cauliflower and cook at high heat for about 1 minute

  4. Lower heat, cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes.

    Serve with nan breads and yogurt raita
